About Cimarron Elementary (CE)

Since opening its doors, Cimarron Elementary has been a place where students, families, and staff come together to create a strong and supportive learning community. Our school has built a proud tradition of excellence by combining high expectations for learning with programs that make education exciting, meaningful, and memorable.

At Cimarron, teachers are dedicated to meeting the unique needs of every child. They continually use research-based strategies, innovative technology, and small-group instruction to ensure that all students are challenged, supported, and successful.

Families play an essential role in our story. From the very beginning, Cimarron parents have been deeply involved—volunteering in classrooms, leading special events, supporting the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA), and serving on the Campus Advisory Team (CAT). This strong partnership between home and school has been at the heart of Cimarron’s success.

Traditions and special programs make Cimarron a place where students don’t just learn—they thrive. Our days begin with morning announcements and Community Circle, building connections and a sense of belonging. Students look forward to Junior Achievement, Field Day, and our much-loved Celebrations of Learning each spring. Over the years, our fifth graders have taken on leadership roles through Cheetah Choir, House Council, and Safety Patrol—helping to create lasting memories while serving as role models for younger Cheetahs.

From its inception to today, Cimarron Elementary has remained committed to academic growth, strong character, and community pride. Together, we continue to build on this legacy—making Cimarron not just a school, but a family.
