Cimarron Elementary has a long tradition of achievement in academics, the arts, and community involvement. Over the years, our students and staff have been honored at the district, regional, and even state level for their excellence and creativity.

Schoolwide Recognitions

  • No Place for Hate Campus (2014, 2015, 2016)

  • Common Sense Media Certified School (2016)

Student Art Achievements

  • Multiple awards at the KISD Spring Art Show, including:

    • Invitation Cover designed by a Cimarron student (2016)

  • Honors at the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo Art Contest, including:

    • Gold Medal (2013, 2016)
